Our Story
As sisters and best friends who dedicated their careers to early childhood education, "The Lunch Bag Adventures" is a dream come true for authors, Marianne Cook & Kathleen Cotilletta.
Nearly fifteen years ago, Marianne was inspired by a student, named Farrell, whose mother created magical scenes on her brown paper lunch bag. Every day, revealing the lunch bag scene brought magic into the classroom.
Both first-time authors hope this enchanting series celebrates the imagination of young readers through the joy of glitter, crayons and adventures of four friends.

A Day at the Beach
Based on Long Island, New York, the authors were inspired to celebrate the magic of the seaside in their first book, "The Lunch Bag Adventures: Day At The Beach", published in March 2025.
"The Lunch Bag Adventures" will continue with two more books released throughout 2025.
